This premarital retreat is designed for couples about to journey into marriage. The premarital retreat uses a multi-approach of genealogy, education, and counseling to equip intending couples with knowledge of family lines, marriage education, and marriage counseling.  Our Genealogy sessions combine biblical spiritual care with genealogy using BMU methods and tools to build a strong framework for your future marriage.



What is Premarital Genealogy Therapy?

Developed through BMU research, the PGT (Process-Based Genealogy Therapy) is a non-medical, spiritually grounded approach to healing and relational wholeness. Combining genealogical insights, biblical principles, and therapeutic counseling, the PGT helps individuals and couples break generational cycles, heal emotional wounds, and build thriving marriages.

What to Expect 

The BMU Premarital genealogy retreats are easily accessible to clients seeking an in-person or virtual experience.  You will meet with the BMU Genealogist, who will lead your genealogy session before getting into other sessions.   We offer two options,  the 3-hour long pre-marital genealogy and the premium genealogy sessions tailored to your unique needs of every couple.
